Researcher
Dr. Lara Conti
Lara leads the cosmology and plasma programme at Apex — N-body cosmology, tokamak MHD equilibrium, breeding-blanket neutronics. Her work brings the model into the largest simulations we run, and into the smallest fusion-relevant geometries. Before Apex, she was a physicist at a national lab.

The open problem
“How do we evaluate a fusion-relevant model when there is no operating tokamak yet?”
